The Work

Michael J. Daine, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist and Analytical Psychotherapist with thirty years of clinical practice. His work sits at the intersection of Jungian depth psychology, cognitive-developmental theory, and the question of interiority in a technological age.

His doctoral research, completed at the University of Houston, examined the linguistic constructions of master psychotherapists and their relationship to cognitive-developmental functioning — how the most effective clinicians actually think, and how that thinking organizes therapeutic experience differently. That question has not left him.

Machine Dreams — his podcast — pairs depth psychology essays with clinical companions. The writing lives on Substack. The Dream Work journal is on the App Store.
